Chipping Norton #ChippingNorton
Living amongst the rolling hills of the Cotswolds is on a lot of people’s to do lists, but the steep house prices often put potential buyers off.
The area, home to celebrities and royals, is renowned for its pricey properties, with Rightmove claiming that the average house price in the Cotswolds is £415,529.
But what if you could live there for just £10?
Well, that might not be as impossible as it sounds.

Omaze UK is running a Million Pound House Draw to win a stunning home on the outskirts of Chipping Norton, with all proceeds going towards the NSPCC and the Prince’s Trust.
And for just £10, a Georgian-style dream home could be yours.
The sprawling 3,599 sq ft. two storey home has five bedrooms and four bathrooms, and is set in 2.3 acres of land, including a private garden.
The home, described as having ‘the perfect marriage of classical features and modern security’ also contains huge open plan kitchen and dining spaces, alongside a private study – an absolute essential in the 2020s.
And, with the easing of restrictions, if you do win this beautiful Cotswold escape, there will be plenty of space to entertain and host family – with a two bedroom guest cottage accompanying the home.
A spacious house like this does have a setback, though: there’s so much space to furnish, which can be really expensive.
The rustic, open plan kitchen/dining space
However, this won’t be one of your worries if you move in, as Omaze is giving the gorgeous home away fully furnished – and you’ll have a gardener for two years to make sure the grounds look picture perfect.
The lucky winner could either sell in the fully-furnished secure home, sell it for a staggering profit, or become a landlord.
To enter the competition, you can visit the Omaze UK website here. The draw closes on May 29, 2021.
