Cameron Boyce #CameronBoyce
This Thursday, May 28 would have been Cameron Boyce’s 21st birthday. Boyce tragically passed away from a seizure brought about by epilepsy on July 6, 2019. Now, the Cameron Boyce Foundation is aiming to raise money in celebration of his birthday and put forth the funds to help end gun violence and cure epilepsy.
One of Boyce’s final roles is in the upcoming American Satan spin-off television series Paradise City. The show will be donating a portion of its profits to the Cameron Boyce Foundation as well. In addition to Cameron Boyce, Paradise City also stars Black Veil Brides‘ Andy Biersack, Asking Alexandria‘s Ben Bruce, Bella Thorne, Sleeping With Sirens‘ Kellin Quinn and many more.

Cameron Boyce was best known for his roles in Disney’s franchise the Descendants and TV series, Jessie. He had also been cast in HBO’s Mrs. Fletcher. In addition, Boyce also made an appearance in Panic! At The Disco’s “That Green Gentleman” music video.
He passed away at just 20 years “due to a seizure which was a result of an ongoing medical condition for which he was being treated,” a spokesperson’s statement read. Boyce’s parents later revealed that the “ongoing condition” was epilepsy.
The Cameron Boyce Foundation was established shortly thereafter and aims to end gun violence, cure epilepsy and provide clean water around the world. One of Boyce’s final projects before his untimely death was Wielding Peace. This social media campaign seeks “to help fight gun violence by showing celebrities, survivors, and supporters ‘wielding’ a new kind of weapon… one of unity.”
