Oilers’ Ryan McLeod: Recalled under emergency conditions

McLeod was recalled from the taxi squad under emergency conditions Monday.

McLeod will take the roster spot vacated by Zack Kassian (lower body), who was placed on LTIR in a corresponding move. Edmonton’s 2018 second-round pick could be in line to make his NHL debut Monday in Winnipeg. McLeod has impressed with AHL Bakersfield this season, averaging a point per game in 28 appearances.
