Philippines COVID-19 case dies in Queensland hospital

Queensland has reported one coronavirus-related death overnight after an overseas traveller from the Philippines passed away in ICU. The man in question was in his 80s and died after experiencing complications from the disease after returning to Australia and testing positive for the virus on March 25. The Sunshine state now has 55 active cases of COVID-19 contained within its hotel quarantine program and reported over 5,000 tests in the last 24 hours.
