Vodafone’s network is DOWN across Australia

Thousands of Vodafone mobile phone and internet users are currently struggling to connect to the network across Australia.
Some users are reportedly unable to access the internet on their smartphones, with connections repeatedly dropping out.
It is believed the network problems began just after 11am on Friday across multiple capital cities including Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Adelaide.
‘We are currently experiencing some network issues and are working to get this fixed as soon as possible,’ the network provider told complaining users on social media.

A Vodafone spokesperson later confirmed to Daily Mail Australia that they ‘were aware of an issue impacting 4G services nationwide.’
‘Data services may be falling back to 3G intermittently, causing congestion and slower speeds for customers,’ the spokesperson said.
‘We apologise for the inconvenience and thank customers for their patience.’
‘Massive Vodafone outage. Only have 3G and can’t make calls or access data,’ one frustrated Twitter user said.
Another wrote: ‘Big probs – my phone tells me Vodafone has ‘temporarily switched off the network.’
As of midday, there were more than 10,000 reported issues with Vodafone according to technology tracking website Downdetector.
At 1pm, the telco sent out a revised statement confirming the network will return to normal for frustrated users by the close of business on Friday afternoon.
‘The network issue causing disruption to 4G mobile services nationwide has been resolved,’ the statement read.
‘Customers may continue to experience slower mobile data speeds this afternoon while services return to normal.
‘Again we apologise for the inconvenience and thank customers for their patience.’
