40 time of Florida TE Kyle Pitts wows 49ers’ George Kittle

The 40 times, official or unofficial, are enough to impress. But when they knock the cleats off a Pro Bowler who plays the same position as the prospect everyone takes notice.
San Francisco 49ers tight end George Kittle is one of the two or three best in the game. He knows his stuff and is not shy about his social media presence.
That’s why he was comfortable to post about being floored after Florida’s Kyle Pitts ran his 40 on Pro Day. The 6-foot-5, 245-pound Pitts, who is going to be a high draft pick come April 29, scorched the track to the tune of 4.44 seconds.
If that time sounds familiar, it is the same Ohio State QB Justin Fields ran a day earlier.
The “u” means unofficial. No matter, Pitts is officially going to be the first tight end off the board and he won’t wait long to hear his name.

Oh, there’s another impressive physical state about Pitts. Check out his wingspan. It would be enough to wow Jay Bilas.
Kyle Pitts has a longer wingspan than any WR or TE in the NFL (83 3/8″) in the last 20 years 🤯
