When Alba was 13 years old, she went in and out of hospitals on several occasions, giving her less time to be with other kids at school and have friends.
She was first diagnosed with pneumonia four to five times a year and that put a strain on her physical health. Coupled with this, Alba was an asthma patient, who later developed collapsed lungs and had to be operated on.
After that, Alba was diagnosed with a ruptured appendix, which once again, put her in the hospital for several days. As if that wasn’t enough, the “Fantastic Four” actress also underwent surgery for a tonsillar cyst.
