6LACK is back.
The 28-year-old musician released his latest song, “Float,” on Wednesday (June 24).

The song comes after the release of his “ATL Freestyle” and just ahead of his 6 PC Hot EP, due out sometime soon.
“I’m just tryna stay afloat, float, I’m just tryna stay afloat,” he declares.
“We’ve been up, we’ve been down / We’ve been bad / Can we turn it around, before we crash?”
6LACK wrote his previous song, “ATL Freestyle,” as a love letter to his hometown of Atlanta, where he reflects on his journey, family, and eating hot wings while bumping Gucci Mane.
He has also added a new section to the 6LACKBOX that provides information and resources for voting, supporting black businesses and other social justice events.
