    While Jimin’s partnership with Dior only officially began earlier this year, it was not the first time fans saw the idol donning apparel from the French luxury brand.

    Below are six times Jimin rocked Dior outfits before he was made the newest addition to the Dior family.

    Jimin’s relationship with Dior first began in 2019 when he embarked on the Love Yourself: Speak Yourself World Tour in Los Angeles alongside his bandmates. According to Dior, the brand’s artistic director Kim Jones designed their outfits. Jimin was seen layering a jacket with airbrush-like details and a T-shirt that featured Dior’s iconic monogram pattern.

    Jimin appears to enjoy communicating with his fans, frequently sharing photos of himself through BTS’ social media platforms. Back in 2020, he tweeted a picture of himself wearing a Dior Homme saddle messenger bag. The bag is made from black-grained calfskin, and comes with intricate details such as a removable and adjustable shoulder strap and two belt loops.

    When BTS released its first English single “Dynamite”, Jimin wore a white-to-blue ombre T-shirt to match his denim jacket and jeans in his official photo teaser. Dior’s unique monogram pattern can be seen as a subtle print in the section where the two colours blend together. With this look, Jimin showed that he can make a fashion statement even with a simple T-shirt.

    As seen in the official teaser photo of BTS’s second English release “Butter”, Jimin suited up and completed his look with Dior’s So Stellaire 1 sunglasses. The yellow-tinted eyewear with a black frame added edginess to his sleek appearance. Interested folks who are keen on getting a pair of the sunglasses themselves would have to look out for resale listings as the sunglasses are currently sold out.

    Fans also got to see all of BTS’ members decked out in Dior when they sang their Japanese song “Stay Gold” on CDTV. Jimin looked cosy in a Dior and Shawn blue cashmere intarsia jumper, which he styled with a pair of black pants.

    This year started with a bang for BTS fans, as Jimin was announced the cover model for the February issue of W Korea. According to the magazine, it scheduled a photo shoot with Jimin six months before he was confirmed as Dior’s global ambassador.

    Fashion stylist and director Kim Young-jin also shared photos of his works with Jimin on Instagram, which saw the idol dressed in a variety of outfits by Dior like a fleece jacket, jumper vest and blazer.
