Although it took 34 games, the Golden State Warriors have finally notched a three-game winning streak for the first time in the 2020-21 season.
After stealing back-to-back wins on the road, the Warriors recorded their third consecutive victory with a 130-121 win over the Charlotte Hornets at Chase Center on Friday night.
While Steph Curry with a game-high 29 points on 8-of-15 shooting from the field, Draymond Green was the one to steal the show on Friday night.
After his double-technicals opened the opportunity for Terry Rozier to hit a game-winner over the Warriors in Charlotte last week, Green looked ready for redemption. The former Defensive Player of the Year controlled the game from start to finish with a triple-double effort. Green tallied 11 points, 12 boards and a career-high 19 assists.
Green’s passing clinic charged Steve Kerr’s offense with seven different members of the Warriors scoring in double-figures against the Hornets.

Draymond Green sparked his triple-double effort with eight of his assists coming in the first quarter. Green continued to find Kelly Oubre Jr. for open dunks in the quarter. Oubre Jr. led the Warriors with 15 first-quarter points on 7-of-9 shooting from the field.
