NEW YORK – Four people were shot in South Jamaica, Queens Friday.
It happened around 3:15 p.m. at 143rd Street between Foch Boulevard and 119th Avenue.
Police said they four men – 29, 33, 33, and 39 – shot at the scene. All of the victims were rushed to the hospital, where one of the 33-year-olds was pronounced dead. The other 33-year-old is in critical condition. The others are in stable condition.

Witnesses said the four men were standing next to a vehicle when a man walked up and opened fire. The gunman then took off.
