2022 World Cup stats: Mbappe equals Messi, Giroud overtakes Henry, Bellingham’s 11 out of 11

England and France secured dominant victories over Poland and Senegal respectively to book their spots in the quarterfinals of the FIFA World Cup 2022. Olivier Giroud opened the scoring for France against Poland while Kylian Mbappe scored twice to seal the win. Robert Lewandowski added a consolation after converting a penalty corner.

    England’s Jude Bellingham and Phil Foden made another big impression on the world stage as England defeated Senegal 3-0. Bellingham assisted Jordan Henderson’s opening goal while Foden turned provider twice to Harry Kane and Bukayo Saka.
