2 years after man’s murder in Durham, police renew their call for the public’s help

DURHAM, N.C. (WNCN) – The Durham Police Department is asking for the public’s help in an investigation that’s remained open after a 21-year-old man was shot and killed two years ago.
On May 26, 2022, police responded to a car crash in the 800 block of South Street. When officers arrived on scene, they found 21-year-old Jabari Williams suffering from a gunshot wound, Durham police said.

EMS crews attempted to save Williams, but he was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.
